Terms & Conditions
Terms and Conditions must be accepted by all pupils and parents/guardians
- In order to secure a child's place in a class fees must be paid in full prior to the commencement of classes each term.
- Fees are payable in full regardless of attendance unless explicitly arranged with the Principal of the school.
- The only methods of payment are via Stripe or BACS
- Fees must be received prior to the start date of each term or a £25 late payment charge will be added to cover administration costs.
- Failure to pay fees will result in refusal of entry to classes.
- Please ensure contact information is up to date on the registration form completed on enrolment at Northern Lights Drama Theatre School. To update your information please log in to your Class4Kids account.
- New pupils may take one free trial session at any point in a term. If the pupil decides to join the class, the balance of fees of the term remaining must be paid in full prior to joining the school and attending the next class.
- There are no refunds if a pupil is absent from class. Pupils are welcome to make up a missed class at another venue of their choice that week.
- If a pupil has a long-term illness or injury, fees may be refunded at the Principal’s discretion. This does not include minor illnesses, COVID-19 isolation or holidays taken mid-term.
- If COVID-19 prevents any classes from taking place, replacement classes will run digitally (on Zoom) at the same time your child’s class was due to take place until classes are able to resume.
- Northern Lights Drama Theatre School retains the right to change the advertised programme of classes in the event of illness or other circumstances beyond the school’s control.
- If a pupil is asked to leave a class due to a breach of any of the conditions detailed within this document they will not be refunded.
- Half a term’s notice in writing is required for cancellation of classes. Half a term’s fees will be charged if notice is not given.
- Northern Lights Drama Theatre School cannot accept liability for your money not reaching the school’s bank account due to you quoting incorrect details when paying fees via BACS.
- All payments made must be made in pounds sterling (£). Any currency conversion costs or other charges incurred in making the payment shall be borne by the pupil or parent/ guardian making payment, and shall not be deductible from the fees due to the school.
- Once a payment has been verified and received by Northern Lights Drama Theatre School, the payment may not be cancelled.
- Uniform must be worn by the pupil at all classes and public performances. Details of the current uniform can be found on our website here.
- The pupil (if over the age of 18 years) or parent/guardian of the pupil (under the age of 18 years) gives permission to use images of the pupil in publicity materials, including online, print & media. Should the pupil wish to be excluded from publicity materials, this must be stated on the pupil’s registration form, completed on enrolment at Northern Lights Drama Theatre School.
- Northern Lights Drama Theatre School is committed to ensuring that all personal information collected is private and secure. In order to prevent breech of privacy we do not and will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties under any circumstance.
- The formation, existence, construction, performance, validity and all aspects whatsoever of these terms and conditions or of any individual term or condition herein will be governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have non-exclusive jurisdiction to settle any disputes which may arise out of or in connection with the terms and conditions. The parties irrevocably agree to submit to that jurisdiction.
